  • If you can sit on a swing, you can join me in learning aerial arts. To gain strength is the very reason to start aerial fitness. I believe every person can improve their physical and mental well being with aerial fitness regardless of past, current, or future obstacles.  We will start your aerial journey with whatever capabilities you currently have.

  • Absolutely not. I truly believe aerial fitness can be for every body no matter your shape, size, or current capabilities.

  • Safety is always paramount. With aerial fitness you may be the same height off the floor as a swing or step stool. Many times you will maintain some connection with the floor. Also, under each fabric is an 8 inch mat. The exercises can also be modified and progressed so you will never be higher than your comfort level. If interested in the artistic and aerial circus skills, height will be as low as safely possible and spots will be provided as needed.

  • No, upside down is not required. Aerial fitness is about getting stronger not always about learning new tricks. This is your time, if you want to work on strength, coordination, and flexibility we can do that. If you want to learn all the artistic poses, sequences, and aerial circus skills we can do that too. Your experience is tailored just for you.

  • At this time, my focus is women during mid-life. This time is met with many challenges including parenting from young children through teens and young adults, aging parents, challenging careers, and the body changes associated with menopause. Aerial fitness can help you stay fit and active. Being older may come with a body and mind full of stories to tell but you are never too old to find your strength.

  • Absolutely! The benefits of aerial fitness can be achieved by anyone. My minimum age is 13 and I have no maximum age. Men are welcome too.

  • The consultation is a conversation so we can get to know each other better.  We’ll talk about your goals, motivation, and any exercise experience. 

  • I have availability 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday. There is available times as early as 7:15am, mid-day, evenings as late as 8pm and Saturdays between 8am and 1pm. Text 704-629-8194 to schedule your consultation and find out this weeks availability.

  • Overall, you will want to wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in, in all directions.  This includes upside down, so you want clothes that are snug and not loose.  Think of clothes you would want to wear during downward dog in a yoga class. It’s best to wear clothes that cover the backs of knees, midriffs, and armpits.  Hair should be pulled back away from your face.  When on the apparatus, you will need to be barefoot.

    NO clothing with zippers, snaps, or buttons.NO jewelry (including engagement and wedding bands, and smart watches), lotion, or strong scents.

How much does it cost?

Your aerial training program is custom designed just for you and includes one on one or partner training sessions. 
The programs include 1-3 sessions per week, as it takes regular sessions to make progress towards your goals.
